AIRTEC MOTORSPORT ENGINE OIL BREATHER SYSTEM FOR ST150
Designed at AIRTEC Motorsport, we developed this breather kit package to suit modified Fiesta ST150 models after finding our own supercharged demo car would often show signs of excessive oil residue pushed through the breather pipes, cam cover and crank case breather during fast road and track use. This would in-turn cause residue and vapour build up as well as smoke as the excess oil was diverted back into the intake and ultimately into the engine’s inlet. We have also seen similar traits in naturally aspirated examples with uprated camshafts or even remaps.
Our kit is based around an oil breather tank that is designed to separate the oil from the vapour where it would usually be diverted back into the intake. The tank then collects the oil and features a level indicator, which once full can be easily emptied by removing the drain located at the bottom. The kit also includes an inlet manifold blank off pipe (as you will not need the to breathe back into the inlet manifold anymore), as well as two specially made Pro Hoses silicone lines, a mesh filter and all fixtures and fittings, including jubilee clips.Â
This kit is designed to fit with the original PCV set up but can be adapted to fit with our AIRTEC Motorsport billet PCV baffle plate (or other aftermarket PCV plates) with an additional hose and fitting – please get in contact with your specific requirements.
